Lately the weather around here has been a little on and off. One day its really hot the next it like halloween is happening. So I was inspired to do purple smokey eye. I first stated out really simple but somehow I just kept layer the colors and I'm very pleased with how everything turned out.
For this look I used both my LORAC palettes. I used both Mauve and Nectar on the crease just about everywhere as my transition shades. Pewter was then placed on the outer third of the lid with Chrome in the tear duct. I then took Plum into the upper crease and used Deep Purple in the outer v, it was a process of add, blend, add till I reached my desired darkness. I used a clean blending brush to blend everything together. I lastly added some Plum and Deep Purple onto my lower lash line. Added some mascara and the eyes were done.
I wanted the focus to be on the eyes so I kept my face pretty simple. L'oreal Lumi Magic Primer and True Match Lumi Foundation, Benefit Boi-ing concealer for my base. Wet n' Wild bronzer in Bikini Contest and Tart Blush in Blissful on the cheeks. Brows were filled in with my handy dandy Maybelline brow powder in light brown. For the lips I went for a trusty nude with Maybelline Nude Lust and NYX Butter Gloss in Tiramisu.
Have a great day!

This is such a nice look! I'm drooling over those lorac palettes too... still trying to convince myself I don't need them...
