Todays FIF is going to be dedicated to my love of the skirt equivalent of sweatpants, or so I read they were. The maxi dress is one of my favorite pieces in my closet for spring and summer. They are soooo comfy and can be dressed up or dressed down. I love both styles. I don't know about you guys but I have some long limbs for only being 5'4" (162.5 cm) and the length of maxi skirts always me to play off my long limbs.
Maxi dresses can look so effortlessly chic is done rite, like the Lauren Conrad picture above (second from your left). Now to be completely honest I do I have one pet peeve when it come to maxi dress or skirts, I loath seeing someone in heels while wearing this style, wedges okay, heels NO! Is that weird? I just think heels are just naturally uncomfortable and if you tell me they aren't you have been lying to yourself for way to long. To me one wears a maxi dress for comfort and when you throw on a heel with this it completely throws off the simplistic comfy look. I may be weird so let me know if you all agree or disagree with this.
