Bargain Beauty

Monday, April 21, 2014

Today's post if for my second post of the #BloggersDoItBetter challenge. This weeks topic was bloggers do bargains better. So I'm a huge bargain hunter [I got it from my momma] when it comes to clothing and furniture. However, beauty I feel is a bit difficult for me to bargain with, but of course when it comes to makeup the drugstore is a bargain compared to what you will find at sephora or a department store. So for this post I decided to show you all a full face of just drugstore products.

So without further ado...

Base
  • L'Oreal Youth Code BB Cream; my absolute favorite base from the drugstore. Its a bit on the pricier side for a drugstore product, but its better than any high-end bb cream I have tried. Check out my review [here]
  • Maybelline Fit Me concealer; after hearing Wayne Goss from youtube rave about this concealer I had to try it out. Not only is it super cheap but you get heaps of product [6.8 ml].
Cheeks
  • Wet n' Wild Brozer; you get an enormous amount of product for less than five dollars. It can't be beat. I have had mine since high school, I'm pretty sure this is the first bronzer I ever purchased and it's still going strong.
  • Maybelline Fit Me Blush; this is a product you have to get through the first layer of product to get any color payoff, but once you do the color is gorgeous!
Eyes
  • Maybelline Color Tattoos; again an amazing product that is inexpensive and you get heaps of. A little tip is to store them upside down do that they don't try out.
  • Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Definer; I love this product because it is pretty smudge proof and really pigmented, however its the creamiest eyeliner, but for the price I can make it work.
  • Maybelline Mascara; I love Maybelline mascaras they have a variety of formulas and there is one for everyone. I really like their Rocket and Falsies formulas.
Lips
  • Milani Lip Color; these lipsticks were a happy surprise for me. I tried one out this past summer and was hooked. They have amazing lasting power, SUPER pigmented, a creamy formula and smell amazing!!
Brushes
  • Real Technique; I think everyone can attest that these are some the best makeup brushes you can get from the drugstore. They are amazing quality and you can't beat the price for the quality.
  • Elf Brushes; these are perfect for beginners, they are cheap do a nice job.
Nails
  • SinfulColors Nail Polish; these are $1.99 sometimes you can find them for .99¢. They have a huge range of colors, and I really the formula.
There are tons of other products that are great deals, these however, are my go to.
What are you favorite beauty bargains?

Have a lovely day!
