So my weekend consisted watching the Great Gatsby on Friday which I really enjoyed although I heard many people say they didn't like it. Saturday I was off to Pittsburgh to watch the Pirates play the Cardinals. It was my first time at a Pirates game as I'm a Yankees fan [naturally]. We got into Pittsburgh a bit early so we can grab an early dinner before the game and we stopped at Bar Louie in Station Square. The meal was just great from drinks to dessert, highly recommend it if you're in the Pittsburgh area. We then headed over to the stadium were we walked around and took a lot of pictures [some showed]. The game started and it was pretty cold. The game was fun, however the Pirates played awful as did the cardinals, the Pirates lost if you were wondering. However, after the game we got on the boat and we watched the firework show! That was really cool and kinda romantic. They really went all out for the firework show. The next day I had a barbecue with the history department of my university for inductions in the national history fraternity Phi Alpha Theta. There I was able to mingle with some other history buffs [my inner nerd came out] and got to build a stronger relationship with some of my professors [++ for networking]. So my weekend was pretty jam packed but it was great weekend filled with great people and lots of laughter.
