Spring Lips 4 High-End & 4 Drugstore

Tuesday, April 8, 2014

If there is one thing about spring that I really enjoy besides the fact that winter is now in the past is the fact that I can add some bright colors into the mix and not feel like I'm about to go on vaca. One of my favorite ways to incorporate color into my look is through either a nail polish, which you can check out my go to shades for spring [here]. However, another way I love to incorporate color is through lipstick. I haven't always been a lipstick fan, as I have full lips and growing up I never really appreciated them. Now that I'm older I have fully been able to appreciate my full lips and I love to make them my focal point. I think they're my favorite feature.

So I have put together my go to drugstore and high-end lip shades for spring.

Drugstore [all matte except Milani]

Wet n' Wild Think Pink: A soft baby pink with a blueish undertone.

Milani Fruit Punch: A true deep pink with red base.

Revlon Matte Balm Audacious: A vibrant coral/orange shade.

High-End

Cle De Peau #23: A mauve rose shade.

Estee Lauder Pink Parfait: A frost pink shade with a blue undertone. [ignore the mess, my niece got into it]

Cle De Peau #8: A sheer orange shade with some silver sparkle.

MAC Angel: A frost nude pink. This is the shade that can be worn daily if your not into bright lips.

What shades do you all reach for in the spring? Do you change it up?

  1. I want to get my hands on all of these shades, particularly the orange shades. After your post on orange lips I have been dying to try the trend on myself. Thanks for sharing!
