imPress Press-On Manicure

Tuesday, April 15, 2014

A couple weeks a ago now I received the UniVoxBox from inlfuentser, and in the box I was sent the imPress Press-On Manicure [Pattern:$7.99/ Color:$5.99] in shade Control Freak. The container come with 24 various nails sizes, a prep wipe [basically alcohol], and a baby nail filer.

imPress claims are...
  • No drying time–The imPRESS Press-On Manicure delivers an instant salon-perfect manicure without the drying time of polish or nail glue.
  • Superior, lasting shine—An indestructible top coat that rivals the best salon gel polish.
  • Easy removal—Gently peel from sides or apply polish remover around the edges, wait 1 minute, then peel off.
  • Lasts up to a week—When applied properly, imPress Press-On Manicure lasts up to a week while keeping nails protected. What polish can say that!

I have to say that these nails live up to their claim. Obviously there is not drying time, they are super shiny [which I love], super easy to remove and apply, and lasted a week for me. They probably would have lasted longer if it weren't for my need to change things up.

I was pleasantly surprised by this product, as growing up I had my run on those press on nails. However, these are nothing like the ones I had growing up. I was really impressed by the lasting power of these. I was able to wash dishes [with no gloves] and my hair without any coming off or feeling loose. I only have a few complaints. One I don't think this could work for everyone, wide fingers or small fingers. Two my natural nails were just under the length of the press on nails, because of this a lot of things would get caught in between the two. Three my nails grow down, while these nails go straight so in certain angles on you can see the application. All in all I think these are really neat. I think I would purchase these if I was going to an event and didn't have enough time to paint my nails.

Have you guys tried imPress nails? What are your thoughts?

Have a great day!
xoxo Franchesca

    1. I was really impressed by how long they lasted too. I think the trick is to make sure you really get rid of any possible air bubbles.
      Thanks for stopping by :)

  2. I haven't tried any, but I still need to experiment with fake nails. Seeing as these sound so easy to apply and long lasting I think I will try these!
