Dry Skin Rescuers!

Wednesday, November 13, 2013

Hey everyone!

So as I mentioned in a couple of my previous post I have dry skin. Theres days like today were I wake up and my skin is extremely dehydrated. On days like this I tend to reach for a more hydrating skin care routine. For the most part my hydration 101 routine is high-end, but because I do not reach for them on a daily basis I like to justify spending the money because they last a longtime.

Lineup
  1. CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser, this is a great cleanser it is similar to the Cetaphil cleanser. However the CeraVe doesn't break me out like the Ceptaphil.
  2. The Michael Todd tropical fruit scrub. This does an amazing job at removing all the flaky skin without over drying my skin.
  3. As I said in my NARS holy grail products post, I love the NARS Aqua Gel Luminous Mask. This stuff is amazing!!! It super charges your skin with moisture. I LOVE IT!
  4. I never thought a toner could be moisturizing, but this Tonique Comfort from Lancome is great at  getting rid of extra product on your skin while still hydrating. I still use my white vinegar toner, but on days I feel I need more moisture I reach for the Lancome.
  5. My favorite serum at the moment is the Estee Lauder Idealist serum. I went through a couple samples before I decided I needed to purchase the full size (and this is what I recommend, get yourself a sample of this stuff). I always see a difference when I use it. My scars look lighter, my skin looks healthy and is just glowing the next morning from this serum.
  6. The Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cream was a recommendation from my grandmother, so naturally I gave it a go, because grandmothers always know best! I love this stuff for when I'm feeling extremely dry like today. My skin loves this stuff and soaks it right up!
What are some of your skin rescuers?
Hope this what helpful to someone, and you all enjoyed!

Have a great day!
xoxo Franchesca

*Disclaimer: just because I use high-end products doesn't mean you cant find great stuff at the drugstore that will the give the same results. I just haven't found any that work this great for me!
